Pirate Island

Colby has been asking for a couple of months if we could go to a new place in Orem called Pirate Island. I kept putting him off and told him maybe for his birthday. Well, he remembered (how do you tell the birthday boy no?) We took him on Friday evening. Brandon's brother Brett and his wife, Roni met us there along with my parents and my brother, Russ, and his family. I think everyone had a good time. I always love getting together with family. I'm pretty sure that the kids had a blast. Colby told me that it was the best birthday ever. I'm glad that we made the birthday boy happy!

Happy Birthday Colby!

Colby is 7 years old! Yeah!

I can't believe that Colby is 7 years old. It doesn't seem like very long ago that he was born. Colby is such a fun kid. We are so glad that he is part of our family. Our family just wouldn't be complete without him. There are so many things to love about Colby, here are just a few. We love that Colby makes us laugh, he has a fun sense of humor and he loves to laugh. Colby has endless energy. He loves spending time with his dad hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing. He is super smart and does well in school. Colby is a great friend, he has a lot of friends, and he tries to be nice to everyone. Colby tries hard every day to choose the right. He is honest and trustworthy. He is such a good big brother, he plays well with his siblings and is good about taking care of Kyle and Callie. Colby is soft hearted and sweet. He loves to cuddle and he gives great hugs and kisses. We love you Colby. You are a wonderful blessing in our family!

These are a few pictures of Colby from the last 7 years.
To bad I'm not more organized and could have found better pictures. Oh well.
(I wish that we would have had a digital camera his first 4 years of life!)
