6 years old

Paige turned 6 years old last week. I can't believe that she is growing up so quickly. She was a lucky girl, she had 2 birthday parties. One with her friends and the other with all of our family in Fillmore. She was so excited to turn 6. Paige is such a fun girl and has a great personality. She is out-going, loving, happy, and smart. She is a good friend and is nice about including everyone. Paige is a great sister and is always willing to help with her siblings. She is fearless, coordinated, and does well at anything that she tries. She has the cutest, most contagious laugh. We love Paige and feel so blessed that she is part of our family. We can't imagine life without her. It has been a great 6 years! Flower cupcakes for the friend party.

We got the water slide out for Paige's friend birthday party.
Too bad it was cloudy, the kids got cold pretty quick.

Paige with her new cell phone. All she wanted for her birthday was a camera and a cell phone. She got both. The cell phone we got at the Family Dollar for $8.00. We didn't buy her any minutes, but she loves the ringtones and games.

Paige requested a strawberry trifle cake with a flag on top for her family birthday party. She blew out one candle at a time. Silly girl.
We love you Paige!

On our way to the children's parade
(WOW! Maybe too many Parade pictures)

We love the Fourth of July at our house. Our little town has some pretty fun festivities. We love to see Brandon's friends, and their families, that come home for the 4th. The kids had a great time at the Children's Parade on July 2nd and then on the 3rd, we watched the parade and had a great time in the park with the thousands of people waiting in line for food and fun. This year a hypnotist was part of the festivities. He was pretty funny. We spent time with family and had a BBQ at Brandon's parent's house. The kids had a lot of fun on our blow-up water slide with their cousins. We ended the night with the town firework extravaganza. We had a great 4th and we are already looking forward to next year.

Yellowstone, Tetons, & Jackson

Jenny's Lake at Teton National Park

Paige, Colby, and Kyle in Jackson Hole

Paige and Callie in Jackson Hole

We stopped at my Grandma's house in Wyoming on the way home. It was nice to be able to visit with her. She sent my kids home with some pillows that she had made and my kids have loved them.

Yellowstone is such an amazing place to visit. It is so beautiful. We traveled through a part of Yellowstone with the Teichert family for the reunion and then we went back through the park with our own little family on the way home. We also saw Teton National Park and then we stayed the night in Jackson Hole. The kids loved everything about our trip except for all of the driving, but they did really well and honestly they didn't complain much.

Island Park

All 31 of us at the cabin

We had a great time at our family reunion. Island Park was beautiful and the cabin we stayed in was nice. The kids loved playing with their cousins all day. We played, fished, ate, went sight seeing, and played some more.

My sister and I were pregnant with our babies at the same time, we even had the same due date. Our sweet babies were born less than 24 hours apart. They finally were able to meet at the family reunion.

Lava Hot Springs

Paige, Kyle, Preston, and Colby

Better late than never......right? It has taken me a month to sit down and blog about our family trip. Last month we went on vacation. Thanks to my parents for hosting a reunion for my siblings and our families. They rented a cabin in Island Park, Idaho. So, on the way up my little family stopped at Lava Hot Springs. The kids (and Brandon) had a great time. Callie and Kyle got cold pretty quick. We were warm as long as we were in the water, but the minute you stepped out of the water, you would freeze because of the cold wind.
