A Fabulous Holiday Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend.  Brett, Roni, and 1 week old baby Bode came to our house to have Thanksgiving.  We always love hanging out with them.  We loved cuddling the baby.  He is so sweet.  On Friday we went on a Christmas tree hunt and Brett found our awesome 12 foot Christmas tree.  The kids had a great time decorating the tree and the house. We love this time of year!

Happy Birthday Callie!

Happy Birthday Callie! (one week late)  My baby is two and she looks so grown up.  We had a fun little family party. This little girl is a ball of energy and quite the chatterbox.  She is so fun to have around and we are glad she is ours.

Colby was determined to play football this year.  He absolutely loved playing and by the end of the season he was playing really well.  Colby is already looking forward to playing next year.  It was fun to watch.

Roni's Baby Boy Quilt

We are all getting excited to meet the newest member of the Cummings family.  I made this quilt for Brett and Roni's baby boy, who will hopefully make his appearance on the 11th.  Roni wanted bright colors and bright she got.

These brothers love to hunt together. I didn't grow up in a hunting family, so this kind of stuff is all pretty new to me.  Brett drew out to hunt elk in September.  They were all excited.  Way to go Brett!

Finally posting... Lake Powell

Life has been crazy busy lately, therefore, I am finally getting around to posting our Lake Powell trip that we went on the last week of July.  We had a great time.  We loved every minute of it.  Callie stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa because I knew that she would hate every minute of being there.  She doesn't like wearing her lifejacket.  The kids had a lot of fun!  Derrick and Monica showed us how to do Lake Powell and thanks to them, we want to go back again.
