Summer Happenings (Part 1)

My Dad showing us around the Dairy.
My Dad is still working part time at the Elberta Dairy. I decided to stop there on the way to Orem and have my dad show us around. The kids and I loved it. It was really interesting.

place as the manager of Deseret Land and Livestock

My Dad has (semi)retired after working for the church for 30+ years. We attended two different retirement parties in his honor. The first one was at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake City. We had a great time at the Party and visiting all the sites. The second party was at Deseret Land and Livestock near Randolph, Utah. This was one of the last ranches that my dad managed. They have a beautiful lodge where we had a barbecue dinner and then my family all stayed the night. The cousins had a great time together and we enjoyed the party and the accommodations.
